I've been knitting pillows for a give away.  WSSU Housing has an annual survey and one pillow will be given to a student at each of the eight buildings for taking the assessment.  These images were designed in Excel and input in the Brother KH 970 using two strands of 2/24 and Diamante yarn in fairisle.

WSSU afghan

I haven't knit much this past year but I did knit another WSSU afghan to decorate the office at Homecoming.  It was knit on the Brother KH 270 with Red Heart worsted yarn.  I designed the ram logo, WSSU logo and the WSSU rams background in Excel and input it.

Ponchos

I was at the Chestnut Trails Vineyard wine festival last month and had a craft booth.  Three ponchos were on display.  That day Maria crocheted some wine glass holders.

I had some beards and crochets shawls that I have posted previously as well as some cowls, knit hats and baby blanks my friend Sharon has knit.  It was a hot, hot day.

I've been sewing flowers and not knitting much.  I did crochet a Trojan hat during winter break from a pattern I found on Ravelry.

I was requested by my DIL in Astoria, NY to knit a hat or cowl for her dog, Leelo.  It seems that children are afraid of her so my DIL wanted a hat or cowl for Leelo that would be fun and help dispel  the fear children might have.  So I came up with this.

It has been put in the mail for Leelo:

I am hoping to get a picture of her in it.  I had to go by measurements given to me over the phone.

It as knitting in various acrylic yarns in worsted weight on the Brother KH 270.  I shortrowed the ears and the scales.  The cowl part is mock ribbing.  The tie strings are 200 rows of slip stitch using three needles.

Update:
Leelo got her cowl yesterday:

Her granddad says she looks embarrassed it but I disagree. Her Mom must have liked I because she ordered another one without the scales so I knit it last night and will send it off today.

Ski mask

I made something new for my dil and then I made one for me.  I have decided I look like a ninja.  It might have something to do with it being made in a dark color but probably more to do with my being Asian!

Now my nephew wants one in black.

Sharon's jacket

In January 2014 my machine knitting buddy gave me a jacket to finish for her.  I just finished adding a lace trim on it today during lunch at work.  It took me eleven months to get to it and four days of work/fun to finish it.

The body is machine knit and the trim is hand knit in Lion Brand bulky suede.  Now I want one for me.
